The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

The head of the branch of the International Committee of the Red Cross branch Kevin Moor said the ICRC organization would resume implementing projects in some districts of Taiz province soon.
In a meeting with the commander of Taiz Military Axis Maj. Gen. Sameer al-Saberi here today, Moor said the organization would offer projects in terms of protecting the prisoners and the abductees.
He pointed out that the ICRC did not cease all its activities after the assassination of its employee Hanna Lahood in the city last year but some planned activities stalled.
