Taiz governor says EU can give priority to humanitarian response in Taiz

The governor of Taiz Nabil Shamsan suggested that the EU delegation in Yemen can give priority, in Taiz, to projects that boost humanitarian response. In a meeting with the delegation's head, the EU ambassador to Yemen, here on Wednesday Shamsan said the EU can also help build the capacity of the local authority and engage the private sector to play a bigger role in developing the province.
The EU ambassador said she appreciates the difficulties Taiz is facing saying her delegation will study the proposal of the local government and address the province's needs together with the government.
