Marib's role will go down deeply in history, says Chief of Staff

General Chief of Staff (Lt Gen) Abdullah Annakha'i held a meeting in Marib Monday including Governor of Marib Maj. General Sultan Al-Arradah and a number of senior military commanders.
The session devoted to discuss the latest developments about combat operations in battlefields.
Discussions also touched upon coordination between military and local authority and security services in the province.
(Lt Gen) Annakha'i deeply appreciated Marib's largely and effectively contribution to the ongoing battles against Houthi putschist militia's coup, highly praising Marib's local authority's role in hosting large number of Yemeni people from different parts of the country.
" Marib has proved to be a bastion of defending the republic, foiling the coup. Marib's role will go deeply down in history" said Annakha'i.
For his part, the Governor underscored the importance of joining efforts and aligning with the armed forces to put down the militia's coup and reinstate official government and institutions.
