The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Kuwaiti Red Crescent allocates $500 thousand relief aid for Yemen

The Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society announced on Wednesday allocating an additional $500,000 in relief aid to Yemen.
In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency, the Vice Director of the Society Anwar al-Hasawi said 300 thousand dollars of the allocated amount will be channeled to King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center to buy relief aid from Riyadh and then transported to Yemen.
He said that on Thursday a $200 thousand worth of relief aid will be distributed in Hodeidah and other Yemeni provinces.
