Yemen seeks cooperation with TICA for developing local societies

Yemen's Ambassador to Thailand Adel Ba-Humaid discussed with Deputy Director of Thailand International Cooperation AgencyBanjongAmorncheevinon Wednesday cooperation between Yemen and the agency.

The meeting also dealt with Thailand's experience in developing local societies based on strategic economic philosophy for achieving sustainable development's goals in different fields.

Ba-Humaid confirmed keenness of Yemen on making use of this experiment in qualifying Yemeni government's cadre in agricultural and fishery fields and improving agricultural production via annual training programs by Thai International Program for higher studies provided by the TICA.

The two parties also discussed training Yemeni diplomatic cadre within the agency's programs.

Ba-Humaid pointed to developments in Yemen's arena and normalizing life in liberated provinces,which encourages TICA on implementing development projects in different fields, especially in agricultural and fishery, confirming readiness of the government on facilitating all challenges facing the implementation.

For his part, Amorncheevin confirmed readiness of the organization to carry out a number of projects and joint programs with the government of Yemen for qualifying cadre in different fields and creating smaller sample to social development in a Yemeni village to be a samplerepeated in different areas for realizing sustainable development goals.

The two parties agreed on commencing coordination with concerned Yemeni bodies for preparations to those programs.
