Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Yemany met Sunday with Ambassador of People's Republic of China Kang Yong.

Discussions focused on Yemeni-Chinese bilateral ties and cooperation. Situations in our country were also touched upon.

Al-Yemany hailed robust Yemeni-Chinese relationship describing it as historic and typical example of constructive and fruitful relation that contributed to serve mutual interests of the two friendly countries.

The Minister also voiced deep appreciation for Chinese supportive stance in supporting legitimate government and Yemeni people.

The Chinese Ambassador stated that his country is very interested in further boosting bilateral ties with Yemen, reiterating China's support for the Yemeni government and efforts to reach political solution to the ongoing conflict.
