Yemeni-Austrian bilateral ties discussed

Yemen's Ambassador to Austria Haitham Shuja'a Addean met Wednesday with Deputy Chairman of Foreign Affairs in Austrian parliament Reinhold Lubatacka .

Aspects of bilateral ties and cooperation between the two countries were discussed.

The Ambassdor briefed the Austrian MP on the developments relating to the situations in Yemen including the ongoing military operation aimed to retake Hodeidah province and seaport in order to put an end of the population suffering under Houthi militia's control and atrocities.

He stated that the Yemeni Government is very keen on ensuring the follow of humanitarian and relief aids so that the militia's withdrawal from the west coast is a must.

Shuja'a Addean reiterated the Yemeni Government's support for the UN envoy's good offices aimed to make peace in Yemen on the basis of the three terms of reference including UNSCRs, namely 2216, GCC's Initiative, its operational plan and National Dialogue's outcomes.
