MEEDI-SABA
The armed forces' experts have removed tens of landmines Houthis had planted in the neighborhoods of Meedi city in the northern province of Hajjah before the armed forces forced them to flee.
A military source told the Defense Ministry's news website www.26sep.net that the rebels had planted large numbers of mines in a hysterical desire to kill and setback the government's infantry.
With aerial support from the Arab Coalition, the army has been combing the remaining neighborhoods in the south of the city for the third day. It has killed and injured dozens of Houthi militants so far.
