In a meeting between Foreign Minister Abdul-Malik al-Mekhlafi and his Kuwaiti counterpart Sobah Al Khaled Al Ahmad Al Sobah in Kuwait on Tuesday, the Kuwaiti minister expressed Kuwait's support for Yemen's security and stability.

The Kuwaiti Minister confirmed Kuwait's support of President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi's government and rejection of any groups or blocs outside the state.

He said that Kuwait would continue its contribution to the alleviation of the humanitarian misery in Yemen and bringing Yemen back to a political settlement.

Al-Mekhlafi thanked Kuwait for its stance and congratulated it for becoming a (non-permanent ) member of the UN Security Council.
