Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior Ahmed Almaisari met Thursday with the British Security advisor Lars Matsim.

The meeting focused on the Yemeni-British securitu cooperation in counter-terrorism.

The meeting touched upon challenges facing the Yemeni Ministry of Interior—in general and Coast Guards—in particular.

The Minister explained Yemen's need for British support to improve Yemeni security services and apparatuses.

The British official stated that his country is keen to help improving Yemeni security capacities.
