U.S. Treasury Sanctions 21 Individuals, Entities for Involvement in Financing Houthi Militias
The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced today the designation of 21 individuals and entities, as well as the identification of one vessel, on the sanctions list for their involvement in transporting petroleum products, purchasing weapons and equipment and providing financial services to the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

Prime Minister Ahmed bin-Daghr paid a visit to the Command of the Arab Coalition Forces in Aden on Tuesday.

In a meeting with the commander of the Coalition forces Brig. Ahmed Abu Majed and the commander of the UAE Forces Brig Masood al-Mazrooi, bin-Daghr hailed the Coalition's support to Yemen against the Houthi-Saleh rebel militias saying that "with joint work, we managed to liberate 85% of the country."

He said that the victory would not have come "if not the help of the Coalition who endured most of the battle which was imposed on our people and our Arab world."

He said that "the government, with the Coalition's aid is determined fight terrorism and drain its funding sources."
Brg. Abu Majed welcomed bin-Daghr's visit affirmed that the Coalition is resolved to put an end to the insurgency of the Houthi-Saleh militias and al-Qaeda organization.
