The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

3000 Kuwait-funded food packs to poverty-stricken Taiz people

Kuwait's humanitarian aid program in Yemen themed "Kuwait is by Your Side" has launched another campaign, this time in Taiz province, to deliver 3000 food packs to poverty-stricken and war-affected households there.
The program has begun delivering the food assistance to Jabal Habashi, Al-Aqroodh, Jabal Zayd, Al-Maafer and in Ataziya, Qahira, Mudhaffar and Salah main districts.
The food packs consist of flour, rice, cooking oil, beans, pasta, tomatoe paste and milk.
The Kuwaiti program has been delivering humanitarian aid in different Yemeni provinces ever since the Saleh-Houthi waged war began to displace and impoverish Yemenis.
