Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulmallik al-Mikhlafi discussed on Sunday with Algerian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Taher Hajjar aspects of cultural cooperation between the two countries.
Al-Mikhlafi thanked Algerian government for increasing scholarships to Yemeni students from 30 to 50 for the academic year 2017-2018 and other facilitations provided to the students.
The two ministers discussed details of facilitating procedures of measures of certificates equivalence and allowing Yemeni students for practical study at Algerian institutions.
The two parties discussed also activating the joint ministerial committee and defining an appointment to sign the protocol of cultural education between Yemen and Algeria.
Minister Hajjar welcomed holding a meeting for the committee to sign the protocol.
