Fatah, UNHCR discuss humanitarian situation in Yemen

Local Administration Minister Abdul-Raqeeb Fatah on Tuesday discussed here with Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Jacqueline Parlevliet the humanitarian situation in Yemen and its support to IDPs and refugees.
With the presence of Social Affairs Minister Ebtihaj al-Kamal, they discussed issues of refugees,needs of IDPs returning to their areas, conditions of Yemeni refugees in Djibouti and Somalia.
Fatah stressed the importance of solving the problems of IDPs as well as the cooperation with the Yemeni government in ending the troubles of refugees coming to Yemen from Somalia and Ethiopia.
Fatah highly valued great assistances provided by UNHCR at this critical situations Yemen is facing, affirming that Yemen welcomes all international organizations and provide them will all sorts of facilities.
For her part, Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Jacqueline Parlevliet said that UNHCR provides assistance for about 3000 families who returned to their homes.
