The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Taiz Health Ministry office launches anti-dengue fever center

The Health Ministry office in Taiz launched Tuesday a dengue fever fighting program in the province with support from King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid (KSrelief).
The program, to be implemented by Al-Awn development foundation, is an awareness rising drive consisting of various
activities about dengue fever, risks of infection and way of prevention. It covers the whole of Taiz. The Director of the Health office, Rashad al-Samee paid tribute to KSrelief for providing Taiz and other provinces with all kinds of support.
The inauguration event was going together with a training session on epidemic monitoring in which the trainees learned how to identify dengue fever and how to control it.
