Presidential Decisions Bring Historic Gains for Yemeni Women
The recent republican decisions issued yesterday, Thursday, marked a new turning point in promoting the participation of Yemeni women in decision-making positions. The decisions included the appointment of Dr. Afrah Abdulaziz Al-Zouba as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, making her the first woman in the country's history to hold this sovereign portfolio. Moreover, Dr. Ahd Mohammed Salem Jaasous was appointed Minister of Local Administration, becoming the first woman to take on this ministry since the establishment of the republic.

PM inspects Yemeni students' conditions in Rabat

Rabat, (Saba)- Prime Minister Ahmad Obeid bin Daghr met Sunday with Yemen's Ambassador in Morocco Ezuddin al-Asbahi, who acquainted him with the conditions of Yemeni students there and the ongoing work in promoting Yemeni-Moroccan relations.

Prime Minister confirmed that the issue of Yemeni students in Morocco is is one of the government's priorities, noting that their financial claims are in their final procedures in the ministry of finance.

While Al-Asbahi reviewed the significant role played by the Kingdom of Morocco in supporting legitimacy in Yemen under President Hadi, bin Daghr confirmed that Morocco is a key alley in the Arab Coalition Supporting Yemen.

Relations with Morocco are one of the most successful ones and taking care of Yemeni community is basic issue, confirmed al-Asbahi.
