Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training Dr. Anwar Kalashat discussed with a representative of China's Hunan-based Long Xiang Energy Company opportunities for cooperation aimed at supporting and developing Yemen's technical education and vocational training sector.
The meeting, attended by Deputy Minister Dr. Adil Al-Tuhaish, reviewed potential areas of partnership in training, skills development, and capacity-building programs, as well as the transfer of expertise and modern technologies to improve the quality of technical education and vocational training.
Dr. Kalashat highlighted the importance of expanding cooperation with local and international private-sector institutions, noting that such partnerships play a vital role in implementing the ministry's development plans and strengthening links between training programs and labor market requirements.
He stressed the need to equip young people with the technical and professional skills required to meet evolving workforce demands and contribute to national development.
