The Yemeni Ministry of Youth and Sports has strongly condemned attempts to misrepresent the ministry or its employees, reaffirming its commitment to upholding the constitution and national laws.
In a statement, the ministry rejected any political or military statements misrepresenting the Ministry and serving the putschist Southern Transitional Council, emphasizing its role as a national government institution bound by the constitution and laws.
The ministry's stance comes after some employees issued a statement supporting the Southern Transitional Council, which the ministry deemed a clear violation of constitutional and legal norms.
The ministry will take legal action against anyone misusing their position for political gain and reaffirmed commitment to President's directives dated December 21, 2025.
The ministry reserves the right to take legal and administrative actions against those involved in politicizing the institution and emphasized remaining a national institution defending the state and its institutions, rejecting coups wherever they occur.
