His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) underlined the announcement of the establishment of the Multinational Naval Defense Alliance led by Saudi Arabia, describing this move as a strategic initiative and a very important step to boost collective security, protect international navigation and secure vital sea routes in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council al-Zubaidi Receives Parliament Speaker

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Major General Aidarous al-Zubaidi received Monday the Speaker of the Parliament Sheikh Sultan al-Barakani.

The meeting, attended by the Advisor to the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council for Defense and Security Affairs, Lieutenant General Mahmoud al-Subaihi the Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Mohsen al-Dairi, the Commander of the Fourth Military Region Major General Fadhl Hassan and a number of members of Parliament, discussed the latest political developments on the local scene and ways to join efforts to enhance security and stability in the liberated governorates.

The meeting reviewed the efforts exerted by the armed forces to consolidate security, combat terrorism and confront weapons-smuggling networks supplying the Houthi terrorist militias.

The meeting also discussed ways to coordinate positions and joint efforts to liberate areas under militia control.
