Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qasim Buhaybeh, has opened the Consular Coordination and Communication Office of the Republic of India in Aden.

This significant step aims to strengthen bilateral relations and facilitate consular services for Yemeni citizens.

The Minister praised India's supportive stance towards Yemen, particularly in the health sector.

He emphasized that India has been and remains a preferred destination for Yemeni patients and students due to its high medical standards and prestigious academic institutions.

The opening of the consular office in Aden is expected to alleviate the suffering of Yemeni citizens seeking medical treatment or education in India.
