Vice Foreign Minister Meets with US Congressman Brad Sherman

Yemen Vice Foreign Minister Mustafa Noman met with US Congressman Brad Sherman, member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, in Washington D.C.

During the meeting, Deputy Foreign Minister Noman expressed gratitude for Congressman Sherman's consistent support for the Yemeni people against the Houthi militia's terrorist practices. Sherman has been a strong advocate for designating the Houthis as a foreign terrorist organization.

The discussion also focused on the humanitarian challenges faced by Yemenis due to the Houthi militia's actions, including attacks on international shipping in the Red Sea. Noman called for continued US humanitarian assistance and cooperation with regional allies to expand aid efforts.

Congressman Sherman expressed concern over the impact of Houthi actions on food aid delivery and pledged to work with other lawmakers to maintain support for humanitarian needs and the Yemeni people.
