Yemen permanent UN Representative Abdullah al-Saadi discussed with the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher the economic and humanitarian situations in Yemen and the government’s efforts to secure peace.
Al-Saadi laid emphasis on UN agencies' humanitarian interventions and emergency relief, and on coordinated with the international community to mobilize the sufficient funds for the 2025 Humanitarian Response Plan.
Talks went over the flagrant and current atrocities committed by the terrorist Houthi militia including kidnapping of civilians and UN and international aide agencies' employees and extortion campaigns against the militia's subjects where the terrorist militia assert control.
