President al-Alimi visits the UAE Martyrs Oasis

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), visited today, Wednesday Wahat al-Karama "Oasis of Dignity" in the Emeriti capital, Abu Dhabi, which is a prominent cultural landmark to exemplify the heroism and sacrifices of the martyrs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the pride and dignity of their homeland and their nation at home and abroad.

The Emirati Minister of Justice Abdullah a- Nuaimi and UAE Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed al Zaabi welcomed President al-Alimi and accompanying him during his tour.

The President laid a wreath in front of the Martyr's Monument in Wahat al-Karama, toured its sections and briefed on the contents of the Oasis, which is located on an area of 46,000 square meters, it includes, besides the Martyr's Monument, the Pavilion of Honor and the Pride Square, in addition to a distinguished center for visitors, to be one of the most prominent landmarks of architecture and tourist destinations that attract millions around the world.

In a remark on the record of visits, President al-Alimi expressed the greatest gratitude and appreciation of Yemen's leadership, government and people for the martyrs of the UAE who sacrificed their pure lives in order to support the Yemeni people, defend their national gains , Arab identity and Iranian regime backed terrorist Houthi militias' coup d'état .

The President said "the sacrifices of the UAE army, the most recent of which was the martyrdom of Sergeant Mohammed al Khaili, who passed way years after he had sustained injures in the battles of pride and dignity and the honorable positions of the leadership of the UAE, will remain immortal forever in the Yemeni national memory, to be added to a record full of giving following the approach of the founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan, may God rest his soul".

The Chairman of the PLC added "Wahat al-Karama, as a lofty cultural edifice, is the embodiment of the unity of the common destiny between the Republic of Yemen and the UAE and the authentic brotherly positions of the brotherly country in the past, present and future."
