Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Waed Badhib held talks with EU and WB officials over ways to support development projects in Yemen in cooperation with donor partners.
Badhib met an EU delegation headed by the European Commission Head of Cooperation for Yemen Joost Möhlmann
and the directors and heads of cooperation programs at the embassies of Germany, France, Norway and the Netherlands and the country director of the World Bank Group in Yemen Dunya Abu Ghaida
Minister Badhib presented an overview on the general economic situation of the country and the difficulties Yemen is witnessing in the public financial aspects and the shortfall in humanitarian and development funding and the government's struggle to bridge the gap while it seeks to implement the economic rescue plan.
