The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya al-Zindani met today, Wednesday, with the Assistant Secretary-General and Executive Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) Jorge Moreira da Silva.
They discussed the main issues related to developing and enhancing the effectiveness of the Office's activities in Yemen in order to achieve the objectives set for it in coordination with the relevant authorities.
Minister al-Zindani stated that the Yemeni government is very keen to provide all facilities to enable the UNOPS doing its job easily and effectively.
The two sides underlined the importance of joint coordination and cooperation to achieve the desirable goals within national priorities.
