Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Waed Badhib, held discussions here today with the European Union delegation led by the Head of Cooperation for Yemen Joost Möhlmann and Program Officer, Irene Zissimus on the needs and directions for the second phase of the EU project to enhance economic resilience in Yemen.
Minister Badhib laid an emphasis on the significance of the role of the European Union as a major partner for Yemen for decades and its contribution to financing a number of interventions and programs in the fields of development, humanitarian, food security, peace-building, governance and institutional capacity building, expressing Yemen's aspiration for a greater role in the phase to come.
