His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)—Commander-in- Chief—along with the Council's Member Othman Mujalli convened a meeting of the Security Committee in Hadramout governorate with the attendance of the Governor Mabkhot bin Madhi the Chair of the Committee.

The meeting aimed to discuss the security situations, the ongoing efforts of the Security Committee and security services, challenges need to be addressed and the necessary support by the PLC and the government.

President al-Alimi applauded the significant efforts of the Security Committee that helped to establish security and stability in the governorate, greatly appreciated the huge sacrifices extended by the armed and security forces in Hadramout in the battles against the terrorist organizations led by the Iran-backed Terrorist Houthi militias.

He also voiced deep thanks and gratitude to the supportive stances by the Arab Coalition for supporting the internationally recognized Yemeni government led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The governor presented an informative briefing about the security situations in the governorate, the endorsed plans to further develop the capacities and actions of the security services and law enforcement forces, and the required support to enhance the realized progress in establishing security and stability in the governorate.
