Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Dr. Shaea al-Zandani discussed with Somali Foreign Minister Ahmad Faqi means of enhancing and improving relations between the two brotherly countries.

Dr. al-Zandani reviewed latest developments in Yemen and Houthi terrorist militia's attacks on commercial ships crossing the Red Sea and impacts of these attacks on the region.

For his part, the Somali Foreign Minister confirmed importance of firm cooperation between the two countries in serving joint interests.
