The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Yemen's Ambassador to Somalia Fadhl al-Haneq discussed with the Somali Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ahmed Faqi on Wednesday the bilateral relations between the brotherly countries and ways to enhance and develop them.

The meeting reviewed the developments on the Yemeni arena and the efforts made by the government to establish peace and end the suffering of the Yemeni people due to the coup of the Houthi terrorist militias.

For his part, the Somali Minister affirmed the depth and solidity of the brotherly relationship between the two countries, reiterating his country's position in support of the stability of Yemen.
