Bakhubairah discusses with Yemen Aid implementing water, sanitation projects

Director General of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation in Aden Engineer Mohammed Bakhubaira discussed Sunday with the Project Coordinator of the UNDP in Aden and Lahj Nassar Arhab and the Project Manager of Yemen Aid Organization Khaldoon al-Kuhali the progress of implementation of several water and sanitation projects in Aden.

The projects being implemented by Yemen Aid Organization with support from the European Union through the UNDP program include the rehabilitation of the al-Majzarah Water Station, the al-Arish Water Project, the rehabilitation of the al-Buraiqah al-Namer Sewage Station, the network project in Atteqaniah City and some blocks in Mansoura District.

The meeting discussed the progress of the projects, the challenges facing their implementation and appropriate solutions and remedies to ensure the completion of the projects that will serve various segments and categories of society and benefit of them.

Engineer Bakhubairah emphasized the importance of the ongoing projects and reaffirmed the readiness of the Water Corporation to provide all facilitations and overcome obstacles in order to accomplish the projects.

He commended the efforts of all supporting and implementing entities involved in these service projects.
