Al-Bahsani: Presidential Leadership Council pays Shabwa governorate much attention

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Maj. General Faraj al-Bahsani stated that the PLC is very interested in supporting local authorities in all government-held governorates including Shabwa.

"Shabwa is a significant governorate with diverse natural resources. The PLC is very keen to support the local authority to do its job effectively", he said.

His remark came during his conversations today, Wednesday, with Deputy Governor of Shabwa Ahmed al-Daghiri.

Al-Daghiri reported to al-Bahasni about the local authority's plans and efforts to improve basic services.

He also cited the challenges need to be addressed by the PLC and the government.
