His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) underlined the announcement of the establishment of the Multinational Naval Defense Alliance led by Saudi Arabia, describing this move as a strategic initiative and a very important step to boost collective security, protect international navigation and secure vital sea routes in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

Members of Presidential Leadership Council visit wounded servicemen hospitalized in Aden

Members of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi and Sheikh Othman Mujalli along with Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohsen al-Daeri paid inspection visits today, Thursday, the servicemen who are wounded in the battles against the terrorist Houthi militiamen and are being receiving medication in the hospitals in the temporary capital Aden.

They inspected medical services provided to the injured soldiers and the patients, reassured about their health conditions.
The members of the PLC reassured the wounded servicemen that the PLC and the government are keen to provide them with every necessary medical treatment.

Al-Alimi and Mujalli highly praised the heroic battles the government's troops have fought against Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias, deeply appreciating the huge sacrifices the extended to thwart the militias' coup and restore the state's institutions.
