Government Committee Reviews Flood Damage in Districts of Taiz

The government committee assigned to assess flood damage headed by Minister of Local Administration Eng. Badr Basalama conducted Wednesday a field visit to review the extent of the destruction caused by floods in several areas of the districts of al-Mudhaffar, al-Qahira, Mocha Mawza and al-Wazi’iyah in Taiz Governorate.

Charged' Affairs of the Republic of Yemen embassy in Nairobi, Kenya , Abdussalam al-Awadhi met today, Friday, Director of Middle East at the Kenyan Foreign Misnitry Abdushakoor Hussein.

They discussed bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.

Al-Awadhi updated Hussein on the latest developments in Yemen including the terrorist Houthi militias' attacks on commercial ships and the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

The Kenyan official blamed Houthi militias' attacks on the maritime shipping lanes, reiterating his government's support for the internationally recognized Yemeni government.
