Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Charged' Affairs of the Republic of Yemen embassy in Nairobi, Kenya, Abdussalam al-Awadhi, met today, Thursday, with the Director of the Peace and Security Directorate at the Kenyan Foreign Ministry Ambassador Lina Niyampo.

Yemeni-Kenyan bilateral relations and cooperation was key focus of the discussions.

The conversations also touched upon the latest developments in Yemen including the Houthi militias' piracy and attacks on the commercial ships in the Red Sea.

The Kenyan official confirmed her country's support for the Yemeni government.

She also condemned the terrorist Houthis militias' escalation and violence acts in the Red Sea
