Member of the Presidential Leadership Council General Tareq Saleh has confirmed significance of improving and enhancing joint work between Yemen and Djibouti and with countries of the Horn of Africa overlooking the Red Sea under increasing threats on the international navigation.
This came during his meeting with Prime Minister of Djibouti Abdulqader Kumail in the framework of his state visit to Djibouti to enhance joint work and safety of the international navigation.
The two parties discussed mutual relations between the two countries and means of enhancing them to help achieving joint interests serving the two brotherly peoples in different domains.
They also discussed means of enhancing security cooperation between Yemeni -Djiboutian agencies from one side and international agencies from another to limit smuggling weapons from Iran to Houthi terrorist militia.
General Tariq praised support of Djiboutian government to Yemeni people under these difficult conditions over Houthi militia's triggered war on Yemeni people.
For his part, Djibouti Prime Minister reconfirmed his country's position supporting Yemen and the Presidential Leadership Council and government.
