Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Othman Mujalli conferred today, Thursday, with the French Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Katherine Corm Kammoun over the developments in the Yemeni national scene and the efforts have been exerted by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to end the war, make permanent peace in Yemen.
Mujalli stated that the PLC's position is united, backing the ongoing efforts of the brothers in Kingdom, it is also supporting the good offices made by the two envoys of the US and UN to achieve peace.
He blamed Houthi militias for blocking the peace efforts and proposals saying" While we're doing great efforts, actively cooperate to put an end of the conflict in Yemen, the terrorist Houthi militias has continued to exercise oppressive practices against the fellows who have been chafed under the yoke of the militias' tyrannical authority…, launching over the past couple of days more than 70 drones against the government troops' positions in different governorates including Sa'ada, al-Dhale'a and Marib".
The member of the PLC touched upon the situations in the occupied Palestinian territories where the Israeli occupation forces have been waging an annulation war in Gaza Strip, affirming the Yemeni people's support for the Palestinian people, denouncing the Israeli genocides against the civilians including children and women.
The French Ambassador stated that she is keenly seeking to contribute to the efforts aiming to achieve peace and stability in Yemen.
