Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohssen Ada'ari extoled the supportive stances of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in support of Yemen and Yemeni people.

" We deeply appreciate the great sacrifices of the UAE and its key role in sustaining the Yemeni armed forces to counter the terrorist Houthi militias' coup", he said.

He made his comment during his meeting today, Wednesday, in the interim capital Aden with Ambassador of the UAE to the Republic of Yemen Mohammed Azua'abi.

General Ada'ari blamed the Houthi militias for blocking all regional and international efforts to make peace.

The Emirati Ambassador affirmed his country's continuing support for Yemen, noting that that his government is keen to further boost cooperation between the two countries.
