Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. The Presidency of the House of Representatives condemned in the strongest terms the aggressive raids launched by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip against innocent Palestinian civilians, which has resulted in the martyrdom and injury of thousands of civilians.

The parliamentary body emphasized in a statement that Israel’s violent practices are a flagrant violation of international law and contradict United Nations resolutions and common humanitarian ethics, and basic human rights principles.

The parliamentary body said this violent escalation must stop immediately.
