Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak, discussed today, in the interim capital, Aden, with Norway's special envoy for Yemen Ms. Kjersti Tromsdal the developments in Yemen and the future of the peace process.
The Foreign Minister praised Norway's role and positive involvement in contributing to resolving the crisis and bringing peace to Yemen.
The meeting touched on developments in the Yemeni arena, the economic challenges facing the government, and the Houthi militia's continued negative dealings with peace efforts.
For her part, Norway's envoy expressed her country's support for the Yemeni government and continued support for the National Plan for Women, Peace and Security.
