The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Deputy Governor of Marib Abd-Rabbu Miftah launched Wednesday Water Project with tower tank and a mosque in Al-Maghaweer Neighborhood for Displaced People here.
Carried out by Drops Foundation for Development with financing from Kuwaiti Woman Humanitarian Team, the project costs USD 160 thousand.
Miftah was briefed by the Head of Drops Foundation Aseel Joban on the components of the project which includes digging well with water pump and constructing tower with capacity of 60 cubic meter for distributing water.
Joban pointed out that more than 5000 displaced people will benefit from the project.
