Yemen's Armed Forces recaptured Al-Khazzan Hill in Jabal Habashi district, west of Taiz governorate, on Thursday following heavy clashes with the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, as fighting intensified on the Maqbanah and Al-Kadaha fronts.

The Iranian-backed Houthi militia fired a ballistic missile at a restaurant in the Mokha Junction area west of Taiz on Friday, causing civilian casualties and extensive damage to the restaurant and nearby property.

The Ministry of Human Rights strongly condemned the Houthi militia's military escalation in Taiz, including artillery, missile and drone attacks targeting residential areas, displacement camps and civilian facilities in the districts of Maqbanah, Jabal Habashi, Al-Kadaha and Al-Dhabab.
