Taiz: Security services arrest assassins of WFP official

Security services in Taiz governorate arrested the perpetrators of the assassination of the local coordinator of the World Food Program, Muayad Hamidi in the city of Turbah, south of the governorate.

A security source told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the security services have arrested the direct perpetrators of the assassination, namely Ahmed Al-Surra and Zakaria Al-Sharjabi, and 10 others within a cell that planned to assassinate the director of the World Food Program office at noon on Friday in front of a restaurant in Al-Turbah.

The source added that the security services began interrogating the cell members to find out the motives for committing the crime.
