Russia announces price of its new Jetliner MC-21

The newspaper "Kommersant" revealed the expected price of the modern Russian plane MC-21, which is planned to compete with planes from "Boeing" and "Airbus" in the market

The Russian newspaper reported that the price of the new Russian aircraft for delivery in 2028-2030 will range between 4.3-4.6 billion rubles (about 54 million dollar.

According to the newspaper the Russian national carrier "Aeroflot" will get these planes at a cheaper price of 3.2 billion rubles which are set to be delivered in 2023-2026.

The Russian MC-21 is a medium-range aircraft designed to compete with the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 in the global aircraft market.

The Russian plane can board between 150 to 211 passengers, it is up to the buyer's request.
