Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, discussed today, with the non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to our country, Vladimir Andres González Quesada, a number of issues of common concern and ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
The Cuban ambassador delivered an official invitation addressed to the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, from the Cuban president to participate in the summit of heads and governments of the Group of 77 and China on current development challenges, to be held in Havana next September, reiterating his country's position in support of efforts to establish peace in Yemen and the unity, security and stability of the country.
