Riyadh - Saba
Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak discussed today with the Swedish Special Envoy to Yemen, Peter Semneby, the political developments in Yemen and the efforts made to achieve peace, and the efforts made by the Kingdom of Sweden to contribute to resolving the crisis.
Bin Mubarak touched on the continuation of the Houthi militia in dealing negatively with calls for peace and expressing its unwillingness to dialogue and its indifference to the tragic humanitarian conditions resulting from the coup.
The two sides stressed that stopping the war and establishing peace is the common goal of the Yemeni government and the international community, which they seek to achieve by all possible means.
