His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Commander-in-Chief convened today, Monday, a session with the Headship of the Joint Security and Military Committee.
His Excellency commended the Committee's efforts and actions it has made over the previous period, affirming the Presidential Leadership Council's commitment to keep on supporting it to fulfill its duties it has been created for under the declaration of the power transition and the laws and military regulations in relevance.
The Chair of the Committee Maj. General Haitham Taher detailed the President on the Committee's achievements, its plans, forthcoming tasks and the required measures need to be made to get them accomplished.
The conversations touched upon the military and security situations and the ongoing efforts at different levels to enhance security and stability, achieve the integration of the armed forces under a structure of a united national leadership.
