President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, affirmed the council and the government's adherence to the goals and aspirations of the Yemeni people, in ending human suffering, and restoring state institutions through peace or war.

The President said in tweets on the occasion of the one year anniversary of the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council, according to the announcement of the transfer of power, that the Presidential Council "has undergone difficult tests, and today it is more coherent, adhering to the goals of its people and their legitimate aspirations to build their inclusive civil state based on justice, equality, and respect for human rights." , public freedoms, ensuring women's participation, and good neighbourliness.

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council recalled the concessions and initiatives made by the Council and the government over the past 12 months, to set a "unique example of siding with people's interests and alleviating their suffering, including opening the port of Hodeidah, expanding travel destinations from Sana'a airport, and its pledge to pay salaries throughout the country, before the Houthi militia chose escalation and closed the door of hope, which we are now returning to revive with the support of our brothers and friends."
