His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council made a contribution to a virtual discussions held by the Middle East Institute about the Yemeni crisis and the chances to make peace prospects.
The President provided a detailed presentation about the status quo of the Yemeni dilemma, citing the grassroots of the crisis and the ongoing war triggered by Iran-backed Houthi militias 9 years ago.
He also touched upon the UN-brokered humanitarian truce and underway efforts to renew it.
