Yemen's Ambassador to Doha Rajeh Badi discussed Thursday with Qatari Minister of Culture Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Thani cooperation aspects between Yemen and Qatar in cultural field.
Badi praised mutual relations between the two friendly countries, mainly in cultural and technical fields and efforts of promoting them, pointing out to severe humanitarian conditions over Houthi militia's triggered war and its repercussions on cultural and historical heritage of Yemen.
He expressed aspirations for Qatari support for protecting diverse cultural heritage in Yemen and help in doing maintenance work to damaged historical monuments.
For his part, the Qatari minister of culture expressed admiration of Yemeni rich heritage, confirming his country's commitment of supporting Yemen in different fields and helping it to overcome difficult conditions.
