KSrelief Center announced about extending the contract of the Demining Project in Yemen (MASAM) for one year with total amount $33 million and 292 thousands.
MASAM started its demining mission in Yemen in 2018, it has managed to pull out 346 thousand and 570 landmines planted by Iran-backed Houthi militiamen in different Yemeni regions.
According human rights report published last April Houthis-laid landmines killed 2,818 civilians and injured 3,655 others during the period from April 2014 to March 2022 in 17 governorates.
KSrelief Center announced about extending the contract of the Demining Project in Yemen (MASAM) for one year with total amount $33 million and 292 thousands.
MASAM started its demining mission in Yemen in 2018, it has managed to pull out 346 thousand and 570 landmines planted by Iran-backed Houthi militiamen in different Yemeni regions.
